The main goal of the project is to atract citizens to a new cultural public space taking advantage of the urban conditions of the site, by creating a new urban landmark and giving the citizen a new urban experience. The site is located in a boundary plot of the city, between a motorway and the city centre. The house of culture adapts the shape of a large polyedric chameleonlike ark, that is perceived as an urban screen from the motorway and from the city, it wolf the visitor down with a large public staircase that lift the citizen to a viewpoint to the traffic river flow.
It competes with the rest of the buildings, no in height but in representativeness on the shape and proportions as well as by its polyhedral mutant skin.
